Photos from 2012/01 to 2012/03

2012 begins with moderate progress. He keeps getting bigger, and has become quite good at running, climbing, eating, and manipulating his parents.

There are some firsts this quarter, though. He's assigning a degree of intension to his toys (i.e., feeds them food and water). He went to his first Renaissance fair, where he watched horses, petted goats and pigs, but mostly played in the dirt. He's mimicking more behavior, such as making phone calls. Today he had his first caterpillar attack. It was quite a fierce caterpillar, and left him with some nasty welts (not making this up).

He's been going through a bit of an identity crises, however. He first responded affirmatively when asked if he was a turtle. Then he went through phases of being a shoulder monkey, a dog, and a cat. At the moment, he is undecided.

The tooth meter still stands at 80%, those molars are hesitating. Almost like they know something we don't...
